Digital sheet music on the rise in Belgium

Last Thursday at Concertgebouw Brugge, Muziekcentrum Vlaanderen organized the latest edition of the Staten Generaal van de Klassieke Muziek, bringing together many people and organizations active in the professional classical music sector in Belgium.

One of the sessions of the day was on "digital scores and innovation".

Mike Raznick (http://www.mikeraznick.com) is an award-winning composer/producer who's work has been featured in video games, feature length films, short films and Hollywood theatrical trailers. His partial client list includes companies such as Disney, Zynga, Ubisoft, HBO, MTV, CBS, ... to name but a few.

Mike recently purchased our new granular audio effect plugin SaltyGrain, and we took the opportunity to ask him a few questions.

These past weeks, SampleSumo's music following technology has been used in two public events featuring Kimiko Ishizaka's performance of J.S. Bach's Goldberg Variations: one in a live concert setting, and the other in a radio broadcast setting.
